The honours in BA Journalism and Mass Communication program at The Department of Humanities, UTU is a dynamic and comprehensive educational experience designed to prepare students for the ever-evolving world of Media and communication. This course is a scholastic study of all the vital areas of Mass Communications such as Reporting and Writing for Print Media, Writing and Production for Radio, Television, and New Media, Photography, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Management, Graphic Design, Media Law and Management. This program is also widened by courses in Politics, Economy, Sociology, Psychology, and Introduction to Research.

Admission Process

Admission to the B.A. in Journalism&Mass Communication program is merit-based, ensuring a competitive yetinclusive selection process. Prospective students are encouraged to demonstrate theiracademic process and passion for the field during the application process.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+ 2 or equivalent examination in any stream with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD
